Grade's 3-4 Program

This 40 - 45 minute program helps show what the nighttime sky looks like in Natick. It contains four parts:

1. A look at our sky with and without light pollution (this shows the wow factor of the planetarium).

2. A look at the moon and how it changes position during the course of the month (as well has how it appears to change).

3. An introduction to Constellations - what they are and how the shapes get their names (with a look at the images that people once saw in the night sky).

4. Comparing the sky at different times of year with a focus on constellations during the season students visit as well as the opposite season).
